We started NZ Test and Tag to help businesses check their electrical equipment and keep records of the work completed.
Our founder, Tim Roberts, has worked in construction since 1988. Seeing near misses involving tools and electrical appliances led him to establish the business in 2016.
Today, we visit trade teams and commercial workplaces across our service area. We discuss the job with you before booking, then carry out the testing at your site.
Over a decade in business
2026 marks ten years of NZ Test and Tag. We work with businesses returning for their next visit, as well as customers organising equipment testing for the first time.
Based in Hamilton, NZ
We’re based in Hamilton, with visits to Cambridge and selected destinations further afield, including Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Papamoa, and the Coromandel. Send your site location and a rough equipment count, and we'll confirm the estimate and availability.
