NZ Test and Tag comes to your business to inspect and test portable electrical equipment. The results are recorded in an equipment test report, with tags applied as appropriate to the outcome.

What can be tested?
Common items include portable power tools, extension leads, power boards, chargers, office equipment and plug-in kitchen appliances.
Send through your equipment list if you're unsure. We’ll confirm what we can test and flag any items that need a different service.
Your equipment test report
Your electronic equipment test report includes asset identification and descriptions to help you recognise the items tested. Keep it with your workplace equipment records.
Reports are emailed after payment has been received. If you need particular details for your organisation or site, mention this before the visit so we can confirm what we can provide.
Returning customers
If we have tested your equipment before, include your business name and the site address.
We can refer to your previous job and discuss what needs testing this time.
Arrange testing around your site
For trades, that might mean arranging tools and leads together before the visit. For a supermarket, office or community organisation, it might mean working through equipment across several rooms or departments.
Tell us about access restrictions or equipment that cannot be switched off at certain times. If you need a weekend or after-hours visit, mention that in your enquiry so we can confirm availability.
